CN A446 is seen here in two locations. The bottom of Byron Hill, and Ackerville, WI. CN A466 is being lead by CN 3845 and CN 2982. Both of these engines are GE ES44AC's. From Fond du Lac to Byron Hill there are a pair of SD40-2W's that push from the rear. These disconnect around Quad and head back to Fond du Lac. We caught up to CN 446 again as it goes throigh the curve in Ackerville. Byron Hill is a railroad feature in eastern Wisconsin between Fond du Lac and the town of Byron. The hill is on CN Rail's Wisconsin Central Division and features a twisting .99 percent grade on the way south. helper engines are sometimes still used to assist trains making it over the grade. CP 7020 is a SD70ACU olive green military heritage locomotive leading CP199 from the Chicago area northbound. The heritage unit was caught in four locations from Racine County out to Waukesha County in Wisconsin. This train seemed to be quite popular as it was followed by many. This is the first time I have witnessed this particular locomotive. Enjoy. Please subscribe, comment, and hit the like button.
